Maybe It Is Time For A Shakeup In DOD

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Seems that the pentagon faild their 7th audit in a row, unable to fully account for $842B budget.
I say do your think Pete.
To be honest I think the military has always been that way with their figures. By now , I think you could call it a time honored tradition.

After reading the late Colonel David Hackworth's accounts, I can get some idea where a lot of that money actually went.

Something that has not changed to this day I would think.

So, a news reporter with no economic experience is the fix?
Well, he did once had a rather low level military role.
And he a co-host on "Fox & Friends Weekend".
And he's been a staunch defender of war criminals.
And he has sex with under-age girls.
And he's loyal to Trump.
So he's the perfect Trump candidate.

Trump said he wants efficiency in government, and he said he would dismantle some agencies. Maybe he could start with the DOD, the biggest waster of money. Maybe let the States handle it?

Remember folks, it's Republicans that want a massive and increasing defense budget.
They'll do everything they can to cater to the MIC.
Missing funds? Part of their plan
Been this way for decades

So it's a conspiracy theory that billion dollar defense corporations would abuse the government for profits?
Your characterization is overly broad.
More specifically, it's a conspiracy theory that
these businesses control government to send
the country to war.

If an agency fails to account for $842 billion in their budget, it means that agency didn't need $842 billion and can be allocated $842 billion less for their next budget. And, following this simple principle, you will soon discover that every agency of the U.S. government quickly and easily passes all audits. IMO

The entire amount isn't missing, they just can't account for all of it at present. A part of our job is to do audits, and we're much smaller, and things get missed. Can you tell, to the penny, how much equity you have right now? Unless it's zero, I doubt it. They have an accounting issue, not a missing trillion.

I'm sure that putting a Fox News presenter in
charge of DOD will cure the accounting problem.
Just like how putting an anti-vaxer in charge
of FDA & public health will eliminate disease.
The list goes on.
