Fossil fuel controlled
- low wages
- no corporate tax
- no regulations
- climate change is fake
- Koch agenda
In your dreams -- unless, of course, the position remains vacant until after the next election AND we are very lucky.Hakeem Jeffries
Of course they will. That's how McCarthy got in. The same thing will happen with the next one. Corruption. The right wing fanatics want the government to collapse. They'll never approve of a corporate shill.

That was a bit weird. I thought that the Democrats would have voted to keep him. They did not like him because he did not deny the MAGA enough so the Democrats voted with the MAGA extremists. For flip's sake.
I'm not surprised, but still disappointed. Why did any D's even vote on this?
With that in mind, here is the list of Republican Representatives who just voted with the Democrats,is that Republicans have basically declared that "if one of us tries to work with a Democrat, to be bi-partisan, his butt belongs to Jesus!"
how many vote attempts?Just moments ago -- the first ever removed by a House vote. So, who will the next Speaker be?
The irony is awesome, isn't it?With that in mind, here is the list of Republican Representatives who just voted with the Democrats,
Andy Biggs, Ken Buck, Tim Burchett, Eli Crane, Matt Gaetz, Bob Good, Nancy Mace and Matt Rosendale.
Again, those are the ones who voted with the Democrats against their own speaker.
Their vote reflected the fact that they are adamantly opposed to both McCarthy and Gaetz, as they should be.For flip's sake.

There was a vote to accept a motion to vacate -- passed 218 to 212 (I think). Then there was a motion to table that motion, which failed by about the same number. That led to an hour of debate, and the final vote was also about the same.how many vote attempts?
I came across it this am, but it looked like it failed, then I came across another voting count.
? We're talking about the next speaker. I'm happy McCarthy was removed.
Did you forget it was Gaetz a republican, that put the motion to remove McCarthy? It was not a democrat vs republican pursuit. With that in mind, here is the list of Republican Representatives who just voted with the Democrats,
Andy Biggs, Ken Buck, Tim Burchett, Eli Crane, Matt Gaetz, Bob Good, Nancy Mace and Matt Rosendale.
