Meditation advice

"Don’t meditate to fix yourself, to heal yourself, to improve yourself, to redeem yourself; rather, do it as an act of love, of deep warm friendship to yourself. In this way there is no longer any need for the subtle aggression of self-improvement, for the endless guilt of not doing enough. It offers the possibility of an end to the ceaseless round of trying so hard that wraps so many people’s lives in a knot. Instead there is now meditation as an act of love. How endlessly delightful and encouraging."

~ Bob Sharples, from Meditation: Calming the MindBooks
I love doing meditation but due to my daily busy life it is difficult to take time out for meditation. One of my colleagues introduced me about SOS method (SOS METHOD -) which is a meditation tool. I started using this app daily at least for 10 min.You can do this one running, driving, or getting prepped for a meeting. By using this meditation tool even i started enjoying my work.

Thanks for sharing.

I have been meditating for over 30 years - not continually, that is!

Any questions - feel free to ask. I can only say what works for me. I do many brief sessions a day and the remainder of the time I try to stay as mindful as possible.

It gets easier with practice - just like learning a new language or how to play the piano :)

Here's a great mag & site -

Let's Get Curious! - Mindful

Wishing you all the very best in your endeavours!
