This is my own stylized creation. I've always like its flow and since coming up with it, almost never use the Sanskrit rendering for "OM/AUM".

Thanks Maya3. If you can imagine my audacity, when signing my name on everything but legal documents, I will often add that script to the tail of the last letter of my name. :) (I've always felt it was somehow fitting.)

Only unusual to non-Tamils. In the Tamil world in which I'm integrated, half of the people wouldn't recognise the Sanskrit Aum. :) Another testimony as to how to never underestimate regional differences. Here (wiki) are a few more in other scripts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Om
