Abram said:Mazie, you have a super great member page. It has the weather and neat quotes. You wrote out all sorts of spiffy things.
Sunstone said:That's an awesome page, Maize!
I've decided to just make mine a bunch of randomly selected quotes. What do I need to know to lay them out better and with pics? HMTL?
I'm at your service. :curtsy:Bastet said:I haven't redone mine since the upgrade made it disappear. I got Todd to PM me the html for it, but when I tried to copy it to the new page the pics all stuffed up and I couldn't work out how to fix them...so it's still blank. I'll have to save it for a day when my brain is working or there's someone online who makes great webpages, who might help me out if I ask nicely. *cough* Maize *cough* :flirt:
Bastet said:Why is there no 'preview' option for when you're making the page like there is for posts? I've just spent a very frustrating hour+ trying to do my stupid page, and it's still not right. Every time I go to edit it, I lose the pics (cause the IMG tags don't f-ing work properly) and have to put them back in, and every time it looks right and I click 'save', it sticks some more new random stupid bloody mistakes in it!!! Like blank lines in the middle of stuff I don't want blank lines in, or bloody colour tags where there shouldn't be any and I'M VERY MAD!!! :verymad: :banghead3 :computer:

Now that you mention it, Michel, it seems somewhat likely, upon re-reading her post, that there are indeed clues there to the possible effect she is not entirely happy. Is it true, Bastet, you are not too happy, or are Michel and I once again imagining things?michel said:I get the impression you're not too happy, Bastet...........
I might take you up on that when you're online, thanks luv! :hugkiss:Maize said:I'm at your service. :curtsy:
 I tried using HTML originally - I copied and pasted what I had from my old page, and it looked like a jumbled mess. Guess I need to start from scratch.Maize said:
Take a deep breath. Whenever possible, use the HTML tags, they seem to be the most stable if you're trying to do fancy stuff like linking pics.
You picked up on that?! Wow, you and Michel must be Kings of Men if you really have mastered reading the subtleties of women like you've just demonstrated! :faint: You guys need to write a book and sell it to all those poor schleps out there who have no idea - you'd be gazillionaires in no time!Sunstone said:Now that you mention it, Michel, it seems somewhat likely, upon re-reading her post, that there are indeed clues there to the possible effect she is not entirely happy.
