Making all nations into one would not make us one big happy family. If that were the case, there would never be civil war. Erasing the borders politically does not erase the distrust of "the Other" that underlies nationalism. It would simply be expressed in other ways.
Some people just need to be voted off the island...

yes a bright and innocent idea but you have no idea how much of a problem and evil it is unless you're being sarcastic.
one govrenment means one media, one everything...this means no freedom and complete control of pretty much a fascist dictator. some ppl call this guy the antichrist. there's no profit in it for us but there is to the ppl who run our world, it's what they want, complete control of us.
even though a lot of it is bs and the guy who's made it is :areyoucra, i really think you need to go on google videos or something and watch a documentary called Endgame.
I did a littler research and a North American Union is hardly one country, it is like saying Germany is part of England, this arrangement would be beneficial to the economy of all three countries but passports, visa and work permits would still be in place the laws would just be a little more lax.
