That is likely due to the USA having a stable justice system, for the most part. If there were more prosecutors sympathetic to the extreme right then these actors wouldn't fear the law. Look at the two prosecutors in the Arbery case that are being held accountable for covering for these killers.

Laughable now. But many right wing extremists are getting their people into election boards and other positions of authority where they can sabotage democracy from a "legal" approach.

My concern is not enough pro-democracy citizens are rising up and protesting what they are doing.

Let's just say reasonable cost based on wholesale rates, by accommodating profit with protections from price gouging its consumers would be extremely beneficial and helpful, but of course that isn't expected in this day and age.
