Hmmm, I'm not so sure I'd like to find out!nutshell said:I would say it's totally social conditioning. Go to Africa and you can get a nice warm cup of goats blood and milk mixed together. Yummy!
I actually prefer milk chocolate (my favourite is Cadbury's), but before I came to England, all I knew was dark chocolate - and thought Cadbury's was wierd; you get used to things.............. Chocolate and apples go well together.:bounceTerrywoodenpic said:Till some Swiss confectioner mixd milk in with his chocolate, the two were never mixed.
Really good quality plain chocolate is even nicer, Just hard to find and expensive.

Chocolate milk first became popular by a biologist by the name of Dr. Ovaltine who tried unsuccessfully to breed a brown cow with a white cow.Aqualung said:Why do they taste so good together? Is is just conditioning, where I got so used to hearing that milk and chocolate taste good together that I just subconciously was forced to like it, or is there some actual chemical reason behind it?

I like milk chocolate... I'm not much for cocoa. The less there is in the chocolate, the better.
