Millions of birds killed

Over 7 million turkeys and chickens euthanized in Midwest this year from bird flu outbreak

This smells to me. Sounds just an excuse to crush smaller farms and weaken's people's ability to be self sufficient. Wouldn't be the first time. Stalin went after farmers as well. And how do we know this disease is actually killing them off? Sounds strange, doesn't it? And yet no one as a problem with this?

And you know what else? Ever since they cancelled the Apollo missions, I can't buy Tang no more! Coincidence?

Do you ever have anything worthwhile to say or do you have nothing but insults? But I forgot, anyone who questions the government is a kooky conspiracy theorist. Because you know, the governments have never lied to people before. Even WW2 the war you like to talk about so much was a false flag. Bankers made quite a bit of money on that. Haven't you ever heard of the saying, "follow the money."?

Destroying small farms is not a crazy idea. In fact it's rather brilliant if you want to control others. Stalin did that too. If you destroy smaller farms, they will not be in a position to be more self sufficient and would have to be dependent on the government which is what many totalitarianisms would want, which is to have people depend on them.

No, people who draw outlandish conclusions in the absence of any evidence are conspiracy theorists. Sorry, but I'm detecting a significant absence of evidence.

I just listened to a podcast about conspiracy theorists today from a former conspiracy theorist. You'd probably enjoy it, actually, since the guy who does the podcast is an occultist of sorts. It's episode 21 right here: The Infinite and the Beyond

No. This is like living near a horse riding school, hearing hoof-beats, and declaring it must be a unicorn.

Guess what, bird flu is serious ****. So is mad cow and the like. It is safer and cheaper to just kill every bird who could possibly have it than it is to do it on some kind of honour system or whatever alternative you (failed to) offer.

To me, the real tragedy here is the double standard for other-than-human persons. We'd bend over backwards, compromising both safety and going to extraordinary expense, to save human persons. But not other-than-human persons. In the face of such news, few probably even care that these creatures are dying, except for it hurting human interests. Sad.

I am not about to shed a single tear for dead birds. We're humans. If this were a mass culling of dogs or elephants or seals or other animals capable of abstract thought, I might agree with you. But these were birds. Birds that could've started an epidemic.

If Tyson's however many billions of birds just somehow magically avoid infection, then I'll raise an eyebrow.

How do YOU know they even had the flu to begin with? For all you know they could have made it up and said they did as an excuse to crush smaller farms? "Epidemics" come and go, have you noticed that? Swine Flu was a big deal but that went away. So did the whole Ebola thing but notice they aren't talking about it as much. This doesn't strike you as strange?

It's just a way to paralyze people with fear and coerce them into doing what they want. I like how people think governments wouldn't do this when many governments have done it in the past and are doing it now. But no a crazy kooky conspiracy theorist would say that. And as for you not even shedding a tear over it is pretty apathetic. These are animals, most of which that did not need to die though. You ever heard of foot mouth disease? Those cows didn't need to die either.

If you're attempting to persuade me, it hasn't worked. All I'm seeing now is someone so narrow minded and so apathetic, he doesn't even realize he's being manipulated.

Jetfuel can't melt steel either, right?

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
This will cause it to go up.

Good time to buy poultry futures.

Nobody will want to buy em at first due to the fear of contracting the flu.

Good idea though.

Market manipulation. Gotta luv it.

Running to my broker.

Um...no it doesn't. The jet fuel didn't melt the steel because it was gone when the planes blew up. How is there going to be jet fuel if the plane blows up? Do you have any idea how well constructed the twin towers was? That jet fuel would not have melted that steel and even if it did, which it didn't, it wouldn't cause all of the buildings to collapse like that and defy physics. Anyone who's been demolition or witnessed it knows that how's the towers fell. Try and name buildings that collapsed like that after a plane hit it.

And watch this is where you'll say I'm wearing a tin foil hat or something along those lines.

Wow, I didn't expect you to go full-crazy. Never go full-crazy, man.

However, I make it a rule not to argue with conspiracy theorists. You desperately want to believe you've got some manner of secret knowledge, and there's no point in trying to explain anything to you when your recourse will inevitably be "that's what they WANT you to think". So thanks but no thanks General Ripper, but I'd rather not discuss Communism & their plot to deprive of us our precious bodily fluids by introducing fluoride into our water.

... you... have not read much about the cognitive capabilities of birds, I see.

At any rate, I don't believe in making that a litmus test for treating something as an ethical subject. It pretty thoroughly contradicts having ecocentric as opposed to anthropocentric ethical maxims.

I don't have a terrible amount of empathy for people either, one should remember.

I don't have "secret knowledge" I'm just using common sense. You should make it a rule to not debate with anyone since you don't know how to debate or engage in any conversation without insults or wise cracking remarks. And of course people like you will call us crazy because what we have said doesn't fit with your perception of reality, violates your comfort zone and you don't know what else to call us so you just call us crazy. Excuse me if I like to think outside the box and do research rather than open my mouth and get spoon fed the information, most of which are lies. And yeah fluoride doesn't help the water. There's fluoride in toothpaste. Why do you think it specifically states to not ingest it? But hey it's crazy to ask questions, to question authority when something's not right and to not blindly obey those who care nothing for you.

Of course people like you will denounce such theories and say "Lolz that would never happen lolzwtfpoop!" and then sooner or later, it happens. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've heard people say that something won't ever happen and yet it happens.

Maybe this isn't about killing the current set of birds but saving more birds?

Saving them to be deep fried and then into my belly. Yum yum yum.

I kid... I kid... =)
