People think I'm naive and extremely sheltered. If I am in a room with people I barely know and one of them swears, they look at me and quickly apologise. I still don't know why people react like that. I am nowhere near as naive and sheltered as people assume.
People assume I am a bright young Christian man, but that's only because I don't talk much about religion in public. They also assume I am gay, but that's only because I find it amusing to pretend.
By that, you mean that some assume that you're secluding yourself from other pips? Like an introvert or sort of like that? Sorry, MEH BED ENGRISH.
People often assume I'm an extreme right wing nut.
But after some discussion, they realize that I'm an extreme libertarian nut.....& that we agree about much.
You need a badge to flash (and nothing but the badge, despite temptation).I'm functionally aphonic (mute), so a lot of the times people might approach me and start talking to me; and if none of my friends are around to tell them I'm unable to speak, they assume I'm being a stuck up b**** if I just nod or shake my head for responses because it's too much of a bother to pull out a phone or something to write on.

"Vow Of Silence".
That would fix'm.
An NSA badge would be way cooler.I have a card from my insurance that I can show to police officers, for instance if I get pulled over, that basically says that no, I'm not messing with them by not saying anything
Some people think I'm a nice guy.
People often think I am a "nice," conservative, suburban, professional, soccer mom white church lady type.
By looking at your posts here, I also think that you're kinda hilarious. And I enjoy it.
