A few less socialists and dimwitted leftists in government can only help.
Oh, yeah -- whats really needed are more super-genius, extra honest, far right characters like Marjorie Taylor Greene (Known for: blaming wildfires on secret Jewish space laser; crazy vaccine lies that forced Twitter suspension, etc.), Matt Gaetz (Known for: sex-trafficking allegations; unusually obnoxious Trump adoration), Mitch McConnell (Known for: blocking Merrick Garland from the Supreme Court, saying it was too late; elevating Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, saying there was plenty of time), Ted Cruz (Known for: insurrection inciter; Cancún vacationer (as Texans died of Covid-19); universal scorn of colleagues), Ron Johnson (Known for: being dumbest person in the Senate; defending Capitol rioters as patriots and saying that if they had been from Black Lives Matter, “I might have been a little concerned” for safety—then denying any “racial” element to his comments), Josh Hawley (Known for: fist-pumping the January 6 insurrectionists; Ivy League populism; desperate pursuit of presidency), Lindsey Graham (Known for: blowing a gasket at Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing; sucking up to Trump after lightly criticizing him). And too many more to mention.

You know, you should back that remark up with some data -- or should have the good manners to retract it.

Meantime, I'll do a little of the hard work for you, since I well know by now that you just like getting out your liberal-tarring brush and swinging it generously every-which-way. What follows directly refutes your uninformed statements.

This, from the Chicago Council on Global Affairs: "Republicans are more conservative than Democrats are liberal"

Key FIndings:
  • More than two-thirds of Republicans identify as conservative (77%).
  • Just over half of Democrats identify as liberal (58%).
  • Democrats have become more liberal over time, while the proportion of Republicans who identify as conservative has held steady.
From climate change to immigration, Republicans and Democrats find themselves far apart on key issues facing the United States. How much ideological consensus is there within party supporters themselves?

Among Republicans, a lot. The 2022 Chicago Council Survey shows that the large majority of GOP supporters are fairly homogenous in their identification as conservative (77% vs. 23% moderate or liberal in 2022) much as they have been over the past four decades.

Meanwhile, Democrats have become more liberal over time (58% in 2022 compared to 44% in 2004), though the party is still somewhat split between ideologically liberal and moderate or conservative members (42% in 2022).

Yet Democrats so lovingly allow socialists in their ranks without nary a whimper or objection about it.

More than telling of their political ideology than the lies they spew to the contrary.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

Yes, Democrats are inclusive and listen to many views to come up with policy that is good for all, not just the wealthy. Why you might even say we are democratic in our ideals. This is a feature not a bug.

Double post, this board seems to be developing the same problems seen on another Xen-foro board.

That speaks volumes about the value of your opinion.
That Trump, Biden, Sanders, Grassley, and a few more should follow his lead should speak volumes.
For one it shows I'm not party bias.
Two it shows I think age is a factor with them all.
Three it shows I think they all should step away.

Mostly, it shows that you pander to the most stupid and irresponsible of false equivalencies for the most ignorant of reasons.

Oh, do make up your mind, won't you? You just finished saying they're all alike, and now you admit they allow different points of view!

Presently, by the way, there are only 3 "real socialists" (affiliated with Democratic Socialists of America) in the House of Representatives (Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Cory Bush), and about 200 throughout every public office in the United States. Oh, the horror! We're outnumbered! Wherever shall we hide?

You know, it is not altogether a bad thing to allow different voices to express their opinions -- or even try to sway public policy -- so long as it is done democratically and in the end, all concerned parties have their say. And their VOTE. (Although some conservatives, like you, don't think so.)

It is a mistake to imagine that the only goodness in the entire world is Republican. I gave you a short list of some of the worst exceptions to that notion in post #25.
