I don't know why people would trust the military to any significant degree.
The invasion of Pol..., er.. Iraq?Perhaps because the American military has not yet attempted any coups.
The military should not be viewed as a strong father or trusted friend.
What do you call a Gorilla with a machine gun? Whatever he wants you to.I don't know why people would trust the military to any significant degree.
Thanks for the info, it makes sense to me. They mostly trust people that choose to do their jobs and mostly distrust people that do their jobs solely for money. We need to get the elected officials back into the choose to do their jobs, the media and business men will always be distrusted.
A theory....I don't know why people would trust the military to any significant degree.
He's just jealous.Hi Folks...
Jay; Youd have to ask the Mrs mate - no complaints thus far though lol
Compensating or EMPHASISING - what do you reckon..?.. Sometimes the obvious gets overlooked - buried in the delusion of life - and needs pointing out starkly again for all to see....Compensatng then..?...Maybe so - but not for anything I my Self lack - emphasised for the benefit of Others
Apparently so. But that sure sounds irrational to me.A theory....
People see those in military service as trustworthy, but they're
directed to do terrible irresponsible things by politicians.
Seems plausible though.Apparently so. But that sure sounds irrational to me.
Only in the sense that people seem to believe it.Seems plausible though.
Al-Qaeda and ISIS would agree, I am sure.Individuals who serve their country with low pay & some risk seem noble to most.
But the military which they join is a creature controlled by government, which is
run by the inept & the corrupt. So I understanding trusting the military, but
recognizing it doesn't control its own actions (on the larger scale).
A man after my own heart.Warning:
My musings are that of a former draft dodger who loathes uniforms, duty & discipline.
