I do not understand Arabic but feel a complete sense of peace when I listen to Mishari bin Rashid Al Afasy and Yasir Ad Dowsary

I really like this recitation by him of Al-Imran (quality is not great however). The complete change in tone and repition once he approaches the poignant ayah 169 (1 min mark)

Oh brother, that's one of my favourite recitations of Muhammad Luhaidan and particularly that verse 169, I think about that verse often to try and understand it's meaning and wisdom. I also like his recitation of Surah Tahrim 6-12'th ayah.

My other favourite recitation is that of Surah Az Zalzalah by Yassir Ad Dowsary. It makes me cry when I listen to it and the reality that it speaks of.

2. We wouldn't like it if other people bad mouthed the Qur'an in their DIR and it's against the forum rules to do that anyway.

I forgot this video too, I loved it so much when I first heard it that I skipped all the chapters before it which I had to memorize and memorized this instead, I was inspired greatly by the wonderful Shaykh, may Allah have mercy on his soul and grant him Jannah.

thank you for that. I tried to search for female reciters as well, but all I could find were little girls reciting ..cute,but not really as convincing as when adults read it..with understanding etc.

Edit: Oops, I spoke too soon.Hmm,still a little girl reading , not a lady.
