I'm guessing the op is saying when you're dead, you aren't thinking of anything or believing in anything. So God isn't really there because the dead don't think of anything.


I think the house was used as an example, but I'm not too sure what that part means although I'm assuming "Once A House" Is not a house, hence no house.

After death there is nothing as they say and this nothing that there is, is what people become to stay that way forever. For the same money you get to see a house that becomes nothing to stay that way forever.

If I was atheists I would certainly say so. I though atheism was about deities not the afterlife. I actually have strong beliefs in the dead and the afterlife independent of my religious practice. I would never say atheists are really closet theists. Seems insulting when it's all just opinion.

I think there is a 'demographic' of people in general who are more into the social aspects of the religion they associate with but it would be wrong for me to give a percentage because I just don't know.
It doesn't make sense on the other hand for someone to claim to follow a theistic (or deistic) religion but actually be an atheist.
