Most here attack or defend. Are there any that just seek God.

It is possible that preach could have been added to the above but I thought it unnecessary.
In my journey through forums of this type, I have seen many defend their various positions with varied skill and seen debates go nowhere. I did see one person of the hundreds of whom I track actually change his mind on an issue.
If none of us come here to have our mind changed then why bother?
It occurred to me that perhaps, the underlying motivation of all here, in this tower of babble, where all listen but none hear, that we were all questioning our own thinking and that we were all searching for a new God. Or at best here, a Name to follow.
It calls the question, Are any here looking for God?

I believe that most people have been seeking God one way or another at least sometime in their life. It depends on what answers they received and their own conclusions that determine whether each of us either attack or defend. Either way we did seek and we did find our own answers. ;)

I still can't get a straight answer as to what I should be looking for when I go looking for "God". Any advice?
My advice is if you don't know what your looking for then don't look...:p You could be enjoying a cup of coffee and a donut instead of wasting your time...:biglaugh:

Maybe I'll find "God" in a donut and a cup of coffee. Personally, I try to follow Daryl Zero's advice on finding things.

I have changed my opinion on this forum many times..
Not on the subject of God's existence though. One shall need a pretty darn good way to change that, and I think only God will eventually be able to do that.
My reason for coming to this forum in the first place was gathering information.

I didn't think anyone was looking for God on here, I thought everyone was trying to understand other religions. I for one have learned allot since I joined the forums, I don't know about anyone else but I didn't come here to convert, I came here to discuss.

And they are always right. Isn't that nice for some of the puffed up ones.
Good thing they never have to show a logic trail. Llogic does not compute with Fundamentals.

Compare the various Gods being offered and let me know which one looks the best to you. We can start there.

All Gods must be judged.

Who of those who can think would not be? None.

What lead me to God, not the God most see in the bible, but to the real God, was the story of Moses. Ponder the name of God and let me know if you conclude anything.

God is real and Moses knew Him.

Information to do what. Confirm, deny, understand?
Would you believe in a God without a miracle, if so then words will do it. What words do you seek?

I see God here in the connections between people, when they occur. Sometimes I see (and experience) disconnection instead and I hope that I can learn even from that.

So you have found your God, good for you.

Why then would you want to learn from men when you have a God to teach you. Men should be a poor second.

What is the name of your God who has things to learn from men?

Collect... I can't confirm what isn't sure, so I won't deny either. I can only start to understand opinions once given, so .. just collect...

And I really do not search to find God, I think I am happier thinking he does not exist. But neither am I here to destroy other searches, don't worry ;)

Theological concepts and the empirical evidence pertaining to it.

That's a tough one. I always laugh when I see someone asking for evidence of God . There is none.
The only proof of a miracle working God is a miracle. None are handy and one would think that if they were real then God would have left one around for us to contemplate.

Consider- If there is such a miracle worker and He allows children to starve to death as they do here daily, then this God would be immoral for not stepping up.
