I was making an anniversary card for my son and his wife
The time just crawled away, lotsa pictures on this card...and it takes time.
Not to mention.......I'm honored by this posting!
I'm not deserving certainly, but the mornings are my favorite time of day,
especially in this heat we're having, kinda warm, even on the beach.
~
With that said...I think I'll walk to the sand and listen to the call of the sea.
It's still early...everything will be whispering....hear that ?
Everyone's murmering good morning to us.....
could be that crow over in that tree though....
hearing's not as good as used to be.
I have a poem about the beach somewhere in this pile of files...
maybe I'll find it and post it.....later.
Now...to the beach. :beach:

Gossip:
Wirey has been back since his latest brain malfunction (aneurysm).
Alas, this malady had a horrible effect....he is his same old self.

hey Revolting one, only one, no one else could be one.
I'm glad he is still with us, nowwwwwwww.......
when is he goin to start writing some crappy crap like he used to write?
Anyway.......I found that silly poem I wrote about umpteen years ago,
you wouldn't think would you, that's it's about the beach.
I'll dedicate it to Swampy, Revolting, and of course Wirey

Like I said:
Untrodden Beach

Tonight I met a little man while walking by the sea,
with bulbous nose and twinkling eyes a funny sight was he.
He came from out of nowhere, like he'd dropped from out the sky,
he struck a match and lit his pipe, and started walking by.
He said do you have the time to trade a thought of life and such,
I said sure, and kept on walking, didn't feel like talking much.
So he talked and talked about his life, his travels far and wide,
talked of oceans and the fishes there, while keeping with my stride.
He said , you see those footprints, running up and down the sand ?
Well those footprints and the way you live, go sometimes hand in hand.
Some people run in circles with no goal they care to reach,
getting absolutely nowhere on life's long and sandy beach.
Others hurry, running carelessly, they leave a deep but blurry trail,
scattered out in all directions like a frightened flock of quail.
Some are slow and very careful, walking in another's mark,
never making their own footprints, always wandering in the dark.
So my friend, take my suggestion, set the goals for which to reach,
look around and take direction, down a clean untrodden beach.

I'm sure no-one is reading this, but I just got the windows 8 disc and am reading up on it and later I'm going to try to install it.
Any tips or cautions before I commit digital suicide.
I may be out buying a new puter tomorrow.
If you don't hear from me in a couple of days, you know why.....
I know...I know.........no-one cares!
~
I'll do it this evening or in the morning.....I hope.

I don't have advice, since I've never installed a Windows operating system (only BOS & DOS).
But what I do is rely upon my computer supplier to recommend & install it for me.
When 8 came out, he recommended 7 for better performance.

hey Swampy,
I lost my puter, bought W8, tried to install it, lost that, reloaded a fraction of what I lost, trying to run with outdated Internet Explorer, have to use Google to run now....hate that, very intrusive...there's a bunch of nut cases on the threads now...I may just get out...I'll Email something...very upset by what's happening...going to have to go buy a new puter...and 1Robin doesn't know that Jesus never wrote anything, except a scribble in some sand...wind blew that away...and Anan is kinda out of it...and maybe I'll get deleted or scratched off but I don't care anymore...anyway,
Outa here,
Nuff Stuff,
