The point being made here is that he doesn't have the authority to exonerate or not exonerate.
If Mueller has no authority then why was he appointed special council? My point, regardless of whom or who does not have authority, is that Trump did not tell the truth when he said Mueller completely exonerated him when Mueller said under oath to Congress that he did not exonerate him. Mueller also feared Trump has set a new normal, I guess for divisive politics, and or for not telling the truth.
I rarely comment about politics because it appears to be such a dirty business, despite many well meaning people in it who are honest and who want to make things work better for all.
Moreover, Trump has been proven not to tell the truth for whatever reasons about many other things as well so you have to ask the question what is wrong with his supporters that not telling the truth matters? It kind of reminds me when Nixon said after leaving office that being President means that whatever he says is true
it is in fact true because of his holding office as President. Does anyone really believe that, or do they simply makeup their own truth regardless of facts?
Quite some time ago Trump said he could shoot someone in broad daylight and he would not lose any of his supporters. I’m quite willing to believe that, along with his Republican enablers.
This might be my last post regarding politics because my disgust with it is so profound! I question that so far the only good thing going on in the US is that so far it still has a free press!
