Muhammad- the wisest human being

Not being familiar with everyone on earth it's impossible to know. Best guess is that it's doubtful.

If the source of Muhammad's knowledge was God then his wisdom is immaterial.

Strongly disagree... I'd take 1 Gandalf over 10 Muhammads

Very true. Whatever Mohammad recited was straight from God. He had no input or control over the message. He was but an empty vessel for God. That might have been one reason God choose an illiterate prophet, to test how other illiterate Muslims would receive his message. With 800 million illiterate Muslims like the prophet. It looked like that was God's anticipated outcome....more illiteracy.

You agree or disagree

Everybody could comment to it believing in a religion or no-religion.

Disagree.
Muhammad was smart, ruthless, lucky, and educated. But he was primitive. We now have lots more experience to base our morality on. He was good, in the 7th century.

But that was a long time ago.

If muhammad was so wise we wouldn't be debating so much on whether muslims are peaceful. I dont' hear that debate very often with Buddhists, I would go with Buddha and Jesus hands down more wise.

Sorry, I must disagree.

The title of the wisest human being, IMO, rightfully belongs to Gotama Buddha.

Buddha is certainly among the highest caliber and best of contenders. Inspiring peace and thoughtfulness even in non-adherents/non-followers in a way few others ever could.

Atheistically
You have a book made by a stealing bandit, illiterate pedophile, raping warrior.

And the people 1500 years LATER!

You have a group of people the most illiterate religious group in the world, who are the most violent, and treat their women like garbage.

The wisest human being is the one who says nothing and sees much.
What is wrong with A WISE MAN?
Then we don't have to fight and battle with words and beliefs. All spiritual leaders have some guidelines that help us grow and be better people.

Top of wisdom
Is the fear of God
Are you Muhammad was afraid of God when he was plundering the booty
And steals money
Mohammed is not wise
It was reckless
And sexually and was ordered to kill and fight
This is not a wise action

What I'm most curious about is your preconceived notions of non-Muslim responses.

Did you believe any non-Muslims would agree? Would any Muslims publicly disagree?

Do you think a thread such as this is beneficial to perceptions of Muhammad and/or Islam in general?

To me it seems like another "shoot yourself in the foot" thread, which you and other Muslims seem to start up frequently for whatever reasons.

Trying to convince people that Muhammad was the most wise, most peaceful human, or that Islam is the original, natural religion...seems to inevitably backfire.

It depends on what you mean by wisdom.
I think that it is impossible to say that a specific man is the wisest ever...

and by the way by wisdom I mean the capability to become love. Teaching love is not sufficient. You have to become love, a very Christian-like concept
