Aye I didn't think that is what you planed on doing with this thread. You don't have to worry about responding to any of the videos I have posted because my music changes like the weather. I could be listening to something like this tomorrow and not even care much about it.Well...I guess so.
Me first too! I was one of the first to respond and I never got analyzed! Interesting stuff so far, and if you're in the mood for some music this is a great thread. I agree that you can learn a lot about a person by their taste in music. I also think that who a person admires reveals a great deal about their own personality and convictions. Tell me the top three thinkers or historical figures you most admire, and I can tell what kind of person you are.
Queen Elizabeth I
Sir Thomas More
Thomas Jefferson
If I had to guess, I'd say you're idealistic and value freedom, equality, and independence. You probably have a positive attitude toward human nature and believe in the goodness of people.
You're mostly right. I do value freedom, equality, human rights, and independent strength. However, I believe that our ideals and our nature are often at odds, and that perfection falls outside of human nature - though it is always a worthy goal to strive toward. I believe that most people are pretty decent - but I also believe that most people are in denial about just how self centered they actually are - and I include myself in that statement, of course.
In other words, I am a skeptic rather than an idealist. However, I believe that we should push ourselves beyond our defaults and strive for excellence. And while I don't believe that most people possess the self awareness or self discipline to do so, I believe that every person should have the opportunity to do so, regardless of their "station" in life.
I think that some people - often those you least expect - will rea lly surprise you when it comes to what they are capable of.
I'm solutions-based and a big believer in removing obstacles. And a team can usually accomplish more than an individual - unless the individuals allow a bureaucracy to develop!
GIT 'ER DONE!
