the requirement to be a Muslim is to believe in the holy book before the Koran.

In the Middle East, particularly Syria, Many Christians there speak Arabic and call God by the name of Allah SWT. Thank you for your input on this thread.

I will not attempt to refute what you say. I am aware of two ancient writings that appeared around the time or shortly after when Issa PBUH is said to have lived. One writing tells the Christian side, where he is Crucified, dies, and rises into Jenna. The other tells the version that the Muslims like, that says Judas was mistaken for Issa PBUH and Crucified and Issa left Jerusalem. Some think that he went to India, while others think that Thomas went.

In Islam there is no higher reference when can take from other than the Quraan itself. For that reason let me quote from it on that matter.

4:157 And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

4:158 Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

That is the definite islamic stance towards the subject. I have yet to encounter a well established explanation of what actually happened and how the people were made to believe that Jesus peace be upon him was crucified. All the interpretations and explanations for me till now are just guesses and theories. To my knowledge, scholars didn't agree or didn't conclude how that happened.

Since we believe that God created the universe (meaning all things) then that would be yes. Wouldn't bug US a bit to meet an alien from K-PAX. I might even ask prot to take me back for a visit myself.

BTW, Mormons have ALWAYS believed that there were other planets, and that some of those planets have life...even intelligent life...on them. We have been made fun of because of that, quite a bit.

(Not about the extraterrestrial LIFE, of course, since we haven't found any yet, but that there are a lot of planets out there? you betcha.)

Be careful about what you reveal. You do not want to become unworthy. The ideas about extraterrestrials are not far fetched to me. I find their explanations about Polygamy to be weak, especially after Jacob Chapter 2. I was a member for about 5 or so years. Yeah, so now I am backslidden and sinful.
