Actually, you're wrong!
A typical alloy of 98% iron, 0.75% copper, 0.5% carbon & some trace elements is magnetic.
(The copper has some hardening & anti-corrosion effects.)

I suppose you're going to argue that with less than 1% copper isn't really "copper".
