don't you understand i saw gods spirit isn't this message enough read my encounter and you will open your eyes and see what the lord has given me to share with you.how suddenly gods spirit appears filling the church .how i was blessed by our Savior to see the fulfillment of the coming of the holy spirit .Every thing i am telling you is true.

Did anyone else in the church see what you claim to have seen? because it could be just something like what is known as a hypnagogic hallucination . I have had them, especially if I am tired and trying to stay awake. Maybe the church service (and we know they frequently are) was pretty boring and as you felt duty bound to remain awake you saw what you believed to be the "spirit of god" with one of those hypnagogic hallucinations

I once spent a night playing C&C i got home and was sitting on the couch all of a sudden i saw little tanks roaming around on the lounge room floor.

Pretty cool as far as hallucinations go.

I believe you! Everything is God though. So it could have been one of his saints blessing the people within the church and allowed you to see him in order to deepen your faith in spirit.

Christ did utter some pretty bizarre stories, as far as his listeners were concerned. But He proved His divinity with His many miracles. Besides, scripture says nothing to support the manifestation of the Holy Spirit as a person. That's a topic for another thread, though.

How did he prove his "miracles"? Was there a peer view study on them? Or could it be just story?
But just because it's not there doesn't mean it isn't possible or true.
Guns aren't talked about in the bible. Yet, we know they exist.

I havent been back to that church where i was truly blessed to see gods spirit ,This Sunday i will go back i want to see the spirit again .i want to know what does god want from me i feel that there is more to this .so some time Sunday evening Nov 7 i will be back to tell you what happen.

I want to encourage you on your spiritual / religious quest, but I hope you realize that many people have conscious contact with God on a regular basis - its called prayer and meditation. Prayer is talking, meditation is listening.

I have also had an experience of God, several in fact, but more along the lines of feeling a presence - almost like an electric charge, accompanied by a mental awareness. I don't share this with others usually as its between me and God, but the message I recieved was specifically for me at that time in my life - basically that life was worth living and the world is a beautiful place.

Its true that most people don't think its possible to communicate with God, but many mystics and spiritually evolved folks claim otherwise. Pehaps your experience was just God affirming your faith, but I find the specifically Christian imagery curious as God is not the property of any particular religion.

So I encourage you to not confuse religion for God, or God for religion. Often, religion has little to do with God. So don't try to set the ground rules of where or how God might make his presence known. I suggest you seek God by yourself, alone, away from distractions and other folks.

I think most of us believe you saw something. We just do not believe it was, what you think it was.

i am not sure what it means if you read my encounter of god's spirit you know then what happen to me.I just don't know ,but i can tell you its real.some of you said that this happens to a lot of people where can i read about this .

Of course it's real,... but that does not mean you understand what is all about yet,.. that's what awaits realization,... understanding of what and who you really are in the context of universal reality.

Your present understanding is based on human conceptual reality which is only a mental conceptual construction that is meant to represent the actual Cosmic Reality. So you can't rely on conceptual explanations from someone else, spoken or written, though they may be of some assistance in the same way a sign post may be helpful to head in the right direction to reach your destination.

Oh... and before one can really be in a position of understanding of who they are, they must first must have the prerequisite understanding of what they are.
