Mike was stringing us along regarding his fear of the 21st May. He wanted to see how far he could push it. He boasted about how many were sucked into his 'death' story, and how we now fell for his latest jape. He expected to be banned for this, but nothing's happened, probably because he deleted the OP outlining his apparent disdain for us gullible fools - neatly summarised in the title of this thread.

It would be interesting to know if mods can retrieve deleted posts and decide whether any action should be taken.

Which kind of amazes me that this kind of individual is still here yet some people with genuine religious beliefs, however offensive to others, can get restricted or banned pretty fast but an individual who uses a religious forum to post about his face, his family or whatever imbecility is still here.

Now Father Heathen, I think calling him a "deceitful douche bag" is not quite right. It's maybe too nice.

See, I'd been gone for a while when I came back and noticed the thread about him supposedly passing. Didn't comment on it because, frankly and perhaps a little cold-heartedly, I didn't know him enough to care or feel I should make any comments. I then found the thread announcing it was a big lie. A cruel trick. At that point he proved himself warped to me.

Directly to Mike now...I suppose you don't really care about this, but we here at RF have actually dealt with real crises among our members here. A few of us have actually talked down others who really needed help. Offered our help, our phone numbers, and our shoulders to cry on. Some of us have made real friendships here and have met in person as well. This is a community. If you have so little regard for others here then perhaps you should think of joining a different forum. One where being a douche (and yes, that word is fitting to your actions here and no, I'd have no problem saying that to you in person) is perfectly fine. It isn't here.

Man, nice try, but you missed the whole point of the OP. However, feel free to carry on.

The point was, if a group of people so against believing in the bible or say May 21 do so because of reason, logic, and so forth.

Yet here I was, posting crazy stuff for two years, and then pose as my wife telling of my death, and without question many that point at my crazy beliefs of May 21 etc, had no problem swallowing my death, even though I have given no indication of being sane, or reliable. That was the point.

However, in hind sight, there are a few on here that will remain nameless that are nothing but decent and sweet and caring people, as far as I can tell, so out of respect for them I deleted it.

Try telling the story more accurately next time. Funny though, it is like the grape vine, eventually it will be said I wrote I killed a chicken and threw it off a building at a limo passing in the desert :areyoucra
