My God Reasons

I am a bit puzzled by the idea that communication would seem impossible.
Somewhen, I read "Only the self is knowable". It stuck. Seems logical to me. So, my being aware of you at all, requires you be self. Well, you're certainly not myself and I'm not yourself. Seems we must be elements in an inclusive self. That's where my "God" comes in. Not God in the classical sense I guess, but the closest thing in my vocabulary.
Who knows it could be a design feature
My feeling precisely.

1. How do you know what we experience is death.
2. Just because it has always happened doesn't mean it will continue.

Why does it have to be a higher power to which we are subsidiary? Is there a reason that you can see that we are not one with that power?
Actually, no.
Your perspective that our carbon based vehicles are a delusion is very similar to mine. I view it more as me driving a car that eventually dies, but we live on. I see our consciousness (or more accurately life energy, because consciousness, for me, implies mental awareness) is immortal (save the mental awareness). But back to my previous statement above, I see death as both the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one (like a calendar year), not an absolute end.
It does seem we are on a similar course in our reasonings. In the beginning is the word. I suppose that could be called life energy. Let there be light. Dude! Mental awareness.
