My mother passed away this morning, 2:15, Monday, 17th of March.

Her name is Heong - Lui Heong Joe. She was 85. She was born in the village, outside of Guangzhou (Canton), China.

The last couple of days, she has been ill, and have been hard on her.

I found her on the hallway, she has fallen. She passed away a few minutes before the ambulance arrive, and they couldn't revive her.

My father, Chiu, two sisters - Linda and Dianne, my 2 nieces (Selina and Ashleigh) and nephew (Joshua) - Linda's children, and I, will sorely miss her.

She is now with our ancestors.
I am so sorry to hear this, Storyteller.
You are in my thoughts and I wish you and your family well during this difficult time.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss, gnostic. I, too, have lost my mother, and it's very difficult. As you pointed out, though, she is now with your ancestors, and I'm sure there is a very happy reunion going on.

My heart goes out to you, dear Gnostic...

I'm very sorry for you to hear that. I'm pretty sure each person here knows the pain of the loss of a loved one, so you should feel free to ask anyone here for help, advice, or just an ear to listen. Namo Amitofo.

That is so sad to hear, my mum passed away when she was 54 from cancer, my dad died when he was only 48, I wish I had more time with my parents, but no matter what age they die it really hurts.
