No, the Spirit Box app is Necrophonic. It's one of the best, IMO. I've repeatedly tested this app on my iPhone and on my Samsung Galaxy to make sure it's legit. I've received direct answers to specific questions while using it. And thanks for the compliment.

I am sorry that I cause confusion. My humble apologies. As I said, I'm not accustomed to sharing my experiences online like this, but I am learning how to better convey what I want to write more accurately. Let me start over and let's see if I can get it right this time, so I won't cause more confusion. I have two Spirit Box apps that I used while I was inside the cave. One is Necrophonic, and it uses radio frequencies and white noise through an electronic method of communication. It's believed that spirits can manipulate this energy to speak through and answer questions. Necrophonic doesn't record audio, and it doesn't keep a history of the EVPs.

I used this app on my iPhone, and I also used a second Spirit Box app on my Samsung Galaxy called Ghost Hunting Tools. It does record a history of the words that come through the Spirit Box, but it doesn't audibly record any EVPs. We heard '1917' audibly on the Necrophonic app and on the other app. James' voice came through both apps. The word '1917' was displayed on the Spirit Box I was using on my Samsung Galaxy. I eventually turned off Necophonic because running both apps was confusing my mother-in-law.

I hope I have better explained myself now. I've had to go back and edit some of my other posts because I was speaking paranormal lingo (EMF, SLS, EVP) and other members who don't speak this lingo didn't understand what I was talking about. For the record, I do appreciate your patience with me as I learn to better communicate with you, and with other members who don't speak my lingo.

I'm fascinated. Ahhh, so you both heard James' voice say '1917'. On a scale of 1 to 10 how clearly would you say you both heard '1917'? I know sound quality can vary.

I clearly heard James say '1917,' and my mother-in-law heard '1917' because she said that's the year her father was born.
