Made it finally to the new pad..... New forum smell...

I agree though I miss already some of the old features too.

Then the advertisement junk shouldn't choke and clog your computer, or farm your data. That, and it's not like I ever really look at them or buy anything from them.
I was however, a donor years ago when RF took donations, and I'd rather pay $2 a month again than let all tmarketing stuff pillage and plunder my computer and data.

I use a script blocker. When I was looking over the list of scripts to try and find which one will let me view videos here now. So I clicked temporarily allow all, and suddenly the list of scripts trying to run became rather lengthy, and there was some "page-flip" effect thing in the upper right corner, and underneath the turned page was a text saying it was advertisement thing.
So, they're all off again, and I'll be going through them one-by-one to figure out which script lets me view media posted here.

I'm already barely on. But I rather not have my profile messages posted on the front of the website, nor would I like my name to show up whenever I "like" someone, nor do I want people "liking" my post to show up with their names, nor do I want to load an additional 31 pictures every time I click a new link in the forums, nor do I have much interest in participating in new functions.

Putting on my Yarmulke to reply to your post, he's undertaken a religiously indicated thankless task. The parallel is of course clear:

Noach and Yirmiyahu were given monumentally thankless tasks. They were born into worlds that needed drastic surgery in order to be saved. The more gentler and kinder therapies would not have worked, just as the more changing and critical approaches hadn't succeeded. Yet, Noach did save his children. Noach was able to create an insular environment of positive activity and optimism within the raging sea of humanities self-destructiveness.
