How many people do you know of, who haved left a capitalism country to go to a socialism country.

How many people have left a socialism country to go to a Capitalism country.

Why is that, if Socialism is to be so great,
Why are people leaving their Socialism country to go to a Capitalism country.
If Socialism is to be so great?

Liberal Democrats preach Socialism is great, but yet people in those Socialism countries are fleeing to go to a Capitalism country.
Why is that, If Socialism is so great?

My country has elections.
Depending on the outcome of the elections we either have a Conservative or Socialist government. BOTH govern a Capitalist country

Socialism can work in a capitalist country - it appears to be only the USA where socialism seems to be equated to communism.

If to what you say is right, Then why are those people in Venezuela fleeing their Socialism country ?

What about Germany that became a Socialism country during the time of Hitler if Socialism is to be so great. What Happened?

Who is it who thinks socialism "is so great", according to your experience?

And what type of system do they have in mind when they say this? Do they mean a social democracy like the Scandinavian countries? Or or do they mean a socialist autocracy like Venezuela or Cuba?

Some say Scandinavian countries or more European countries are socialist. If they are, then a lot of people move here. Of course many capitalists don't have a home so they might move their businesses to where they can exploit more vulnerable people while they themselves enjoy the most luxuries they can.

It was fairly common during the 50's, 60's and 70's for people to immigrate to socialist and communist countries for their higher education.

Well, if you look at the actual numbers, as I found here (Countries With The Most Emigrants Living Abroad), the countries with the highest numbers of emigrants are capitalist countries, with Mexico leading the pack. In second place is India, another capitalist country. If capitalism is so great, no one would ever want to leave these places.

Ho so that's why people in socialist Venezuela are fleeing because they have a higher education.
Thats why Hitler wanted Germany to be socialist country, to exterminate the Jews because the Jews didn't fit in to Hitler's higher education of socialism.

One of my friends growing up was originally born in Canada, but she moved to Florida where her father got a job as a professor.

While she was in Florida, she was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. She started undergoing treatment in the US.

After a while, her parents realized that they were close to the maximums for their insurance coverage and could very well be bankrupted by the bills for their daughters treatments and surgeries.

They made the decision to leave their jobs and move back to Canada so that they would be able to get proper medical care under our socialized health care system.

I understand from talking to people that many Americans would do the same thing if they could, but they don’t have Canadian citizenship to fall back on.

Let's back up, seeing liberal Democrats, under Obama for 8 years, came up with the socialist Obamacare.
That why people such as your friend couldn't get the proper medical insurance that they need under the liberal Democrats socialist Obamacare insurance.
So socialist medical insurance is not all that it's crap up to be either.

This is why Obamacare is being done away with, for more affordable insurance for people such as your friend.

Is Affordable Care being done away with? I thought Trump had tried that and failed, but I may be out of date on that.

When was the Act repealed?

Yeah but why didn't you say that at the first.
But anyway back during the 80's Liberal Democrat President Jimmy Cater, Mess the Insurance all up and it's been in choas ever since.
Seeing every time a liberal Democrat President starts playing around with the Insurance it only gets worse.

Had they left it alone, people had good Insurance, like where I work, we had the best Insurance that money could buy.
Blue Cross, Blue Shield Insurance.

Then comes Democrats and Obama with the total disaster Obamacare.

What you mean is, The Disaster Affordable care. Liberal Democrats would haved been better off leaving the Insurance to the people to make that choice in what Insurance that they wanted and not the Government.

In Europe, currently the following are socialist...

  1. Sweden
  2. Denmark
  3. Norway
  4. Iceland
  5. Netherlands
  6. Belgium
  7. Germany

France always strikes me as pretty left in sentiment, at any rate. The revolution has certainly left its mark on society.
