A mysterious marijuana-related illness is popping up with increasing frequency in hospital emergency rooms, particularly in states where cannabis is now legal.

More crap news by a crap news source. :D

Anyway, they diagnose CHS by basically eliminating a ton of other things with questions. If it makes no sense they ask the person "do you use marijuana?" and if they say yes they have CHS if they say no they diagnose them with this: Cyclic vomiting syndrome - Wikipedia

Probably 99% of the people I know IRL are frequent smokers and this problem hasn't occured. If it it does occur, it must really occur to a REALLY small and insignificant number of people. I mean, it doesn't even get press... lol

Most people that take MJ eat better, and rarely suffer any sort of physical pain. So if 1% of 1% get some weird syndrome that can be averted by evading THC then it's hardly has dangerous as chronic alcohol drinking.

My personal experience many decades ago with the negative effects of much milder doses makes me realize that there is no real mystery here. Heavy use of any drug has side-effects including marijuana.

Everything is a trade... Drinking has negative effect, so does stress because you don't drink enough or do weed. :D Heart attacks kill people, ergo not unwinding to some degree is more fatal than taking zero chemicals.

Yeah, I replied on it. Your lawyer should be attacking them via 4th amendment, and no blood/blow test. There is basically no evidence you are drunk, and since there isn't there is no right to search your vehicle. Even if there was a stack of joints in the glove box and spent beer cans in the back seat it doesn't mean you are drunk or high. They have to prove that.

The only reason why they went off and legalize it for recreational use, it is that they has created an GMO version of the stuff that nobody cannot sell unless they are approve by them. This pot is patent. And so everyone had thought they has made one giant leap for mankind, but it turns out that they are doing what the corporations wanted them to think. And so, I guess i will be seeing y'all at the emergency room buying Big Pharma's drugs to sooth your ailments that which it was caused from their GMO Pot.

Monsanto, Big Pharma, George Soros, and the Push to Legalize Marijuana

Greenhouses lined with genetically modified marijuana sit on a mountainside just an hour ride from Cali, Colombia, where farmers say the enhanced plants are more powerful and profitable.

One greenhouse owner said she can sell the modified marijuana for 100,000 pesos ($54) per kilo (2.2 pounds), which is nearly 10 times more than the price she can get for ordinary marijuana.

Local authorities said the arrival of genetically modified seeds, which are imported from Europe and the United States have allowed “a bigger production and better quality at the same time”.

A police commander in the Cauca region where Cali is located, Carlos Rodriguez, said one of the modified varieties goes by the name, “Creepy”.

Another seed modified in The Netherlands is fetching a good price in the area, said a foreign researcher, who asked to remain anonymous. That version, well-known in Europe as “La Cominera”, is named for the Colombian village where it grows.

“La Cominera’s” higher value is due to its increased concentration of THC, the plant’s principal active ingredient, and the modified plant verges on an 18 percent concentration level, compared to a normal marijuana plant’s two to seven percent, said the researcher. Is the Rise of Gluten Sensitivity an Issue of GMO?
The recognition of gluten sensitivity has officially gone mainstream. The question many scientists and doctors are asking – “Is the rise of gluten sensitivity directly linked to GMO?” The answer is yes. Research shows that these products can cause gastrointestinal damage including leaky gut. When the gut becomes damaged, those with gluten sensitive genes are more susceptible to gluten induced damage. Additionally, this problem can cause multiple allergies to develop leading to perpetual illness.

I guess we all knows what is the next Illegal drug that is going to be legalized.

Some Colombian drug growers are using genetically modified coca "trees" to boost cocaine production dramatically, government officials say. BBC NEWS | Americas | 'GM cocaine grown in Colombia'

Smoking can give you severe heartburn, which increases in intensity over time. I'm not surprised people are throwing up and having stomach pain.

Yes, that is true... Ninety percent of U.S. tobacco is GMO; hey smokers, you're smoking pesticide!

Apparently, bad viruses and bacteria are being combined with the DNA of these plants. In your stomach, these bad viruses and bacteria can have a bad reaction against the good bacteria that your body naturally has. Can you spell heartburn? Oh, yes!

Then there is the use of herbicide spray being used with the soybean crop. Below are some other symptoms that can manifest:

Symptoms of glyphosate [another word for an herbicide] exposure include nausea, headaches, lethargy, skin rashes, and burning or itchy skin.

Proverbs 31:6-7 ESV / 24 helpful votes
Give strong drink to the one who is perishing, and wine to those in bitter distress; let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more.

This is a common thing, when people are stressed they demand something to relieve it.
The problems that come with it only harm the ones who asked to have it and of course the ones who willingly give it to them.
