In a daze right now after watching my daughter go through the most brutal test of her life to earn her Black Belt. It's a great birthday present to see our child endure 15 hours of grueling physical and mental hardship, and come out the other side with bruises, a hyperextended elbow, a very sore lower back from getting kicked hard by a grown male third degree black belt, and now a title.
My birthday present today is immense pride for my daughter the Sensei.
Y'all, I'm in tears. I held it together all day, but it's all out there now.
Party resuming tomorrow though after ice packs are administered adequately.
