Surely this disproves the existence of a benevolent creator?
God never intended for mankind to live separated from him; he made things so that we can not - whether it be natural disaster, illness, old age.
Unbelievers say that this is evidence of no God; I say it is evidence of man having chosen self-rule with all of the packages this includes. You cannot have your cake and eat it too; you cannot say to God to get lost, and expect him not to (get lost). He gave us what we wanted, and now atheists complain about it like small children complain when they say 'I'll do it myself' - and fail.
