As beautiful as it is, I think of nature and natural law as the habit of God revealed in space and time and the true measure of his glory infinitely beyond anything we can imagine.

Evolution does not deny there is a god.Their eyes have been truly blinded. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, as the Good Book says.
In Hinduism also.
The Absolute Reality or Brahman manifested creation from itself through the vibration of the first sound "Om". Since creation manifested from Brahman, Brahman is present in all of creation and all of creation is present in Brahman. The sound "Om" continues to vibrate through the cosmos. This "Om" or God is present everyhwere...in the elements, in the trees, animals, humans etc. That is why we see ourselves as one with nature, instead of seperate from it. The Bhagvad Gita also states that a true devotee is one who sees God in all beings.
Sometimes it is amazing to just look at the world around you. Especially if you are in a place relativly undisturbed by human settlement. The Bible says and I agree that nature speaks in a language understood by everyone.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I wanted to believe in the theory of evolution at one time. I tried to. But the scientific evidence (at least for me and many others)points so strongly to sudden creation that I simply had to utterly and completely reject such nonsense as unscientific fairy tales.
Good point, it doesn't show God in all his glory. It's kind of like how a painter expresses themselves through artwork in a way.As beautiful as it is, I think of nature and natural law as the habit of God revealed in space and time and the true measure of his glory infinitely beyond anything we can imagine.
You think it's obvious that the big bang theory is true? I think it's an obvious attempt to think of an alternative to creation and then some people comprimised and went with theistic evolution because they were worries that scientists were always right and not their Bibles.Well, I can't think of anything more sudden than the Big Bang. And time is nothing to God. So I do believe what is obviously true.

Not always. It will hit what it is attracted to the most. If you were to put a copper lighting rod on top of a building, it would get hit much more than any other building, even the taller ones, because copper is the best conductor of electricity. You know I was just thinking during one of the lightning storms that come frequently through jacksonville. Lightning hits the things that are higher,....
I'm just saying in general, like if it was in a forest it would more likely hit one of the higher trees. Pride is not the only thing that causes God's judgement to come just like height isn't the only thing that makes something get struck by lightning. Not always. It will hit what it is attracted to the most. John 12:24-25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
