The exparaments with the dog were as far as I know never duplicated. Thus the exparament with the dog is dubious.

Freezing flies isn't cryogenics, what you are doing is forcing them into torpor and hibernation. Keep them in there for a month then take them out... dead flies.

there is no way to bring someone back. I honestly don't think that there will ever be a way to successfully revive a cryogenically frozen human. Not only do you have to deal with the potential damage to the cells but to the brain wich is a fragile organ at best. Your brain is the squishiest of organs and frankly would get wrecked by freezing IMHO.

I honestly think its a pipe-dream and a money making scheme.

Freezing a body and ressurecting it would produce another existance of us with a time depravation. Cloning a body is a different thing altogether. Cloning can only give that being your physical essence, not the "you" you are seeking.

Now if they could freeze my body and then take my DNA and my current thoughts, or my essence, into a cloned younger me and I could pick up where I left off, well....now you're talking buddy! But for that to happen they would have to capture the essence of me and my thoughts, to imput it into my younger body. At this point in time I do not think we have the ability to clone the thinking essence of our soul, or for those who don't believe in a soul, our thinking existance. Darn it!

Wow ,I wonder who will be able to capture the "isness" of us?
