Well, I read another horror story.. a guy abducted a 10 year old girl, and of course, the usual.. killed her then, tried to chop her up so he could eat her..


Happened in Purcell, Oklahoma.. and with all the other killings etc.. I really gotta here it from this god dude.. why again did Jesus not fight back and spare us the screwed up genes in people. he didn't die from any of my sins.. and it looks like most of us are going to die from other people's sins.. so.. um.. wha really happened in the jesus days.. was the bible like some kind of best seller back in its day and people being so gullable, fell for it as some truth baring hippie story? I feel it safe enough to say that as its less offensive than pinning your son up for the birds.. I want answers.. and how about putting an end to government BS.. slavery just has a new kind of approach these days.. and I for one don't appreciate working for someone else to have all the fun.. while I wonder who might abduct my kid(s).. if this planet is just a cruel joke, for your dimented humor, then never mind.. I get the laugh.. snicker snicker.. oh, by the way.. Happy Easter

When I read a story like this, I doubt you'll ever find an answer to the question "Why?" that will satisfy you. I never do.

Since nobody can give an adequate answer to my question about why the world is this messed up, I try to live my life in a way that makes the world better, not worse. Most of the world religions show a way to do that, and some secular philosophies do too.

By beginning to change my life, I can help change the world for the better. Probably not in a big way, but in a small way that will make a difference for a few people.

Lets say you are God for a moment, exactly how would you stop that sick person from this horrible crime?

Would you strike him down, kill him because of his thoughts? Then people would fear God and say he kills the innocent only for their thoughts.

Would you have the police come and take him away? Again, an innocent man is punished and truly does not have free will.

Can I come over to your house and search through everything, search your memory and each of your family to ensure that you do not have any thoughts that might lead you to do something sudden?

Have you ever been angry at someone at work? On the freeway?

Would you trade all of your free will and submit to a programmed life?

When you look at sh*t all day long, to the exclusion of everything else there is to look at, pretty soon you start to thinking that sh*t is all there is.

But millions and millions and millions of people did not rape, murder, or eat anyone yesterday. In fact, many, many, millions of them loved their families and their friends and their fellow humans sincerely, and showed that love in their actions toward them. Amazing acts of love and compassion and kindness occurred, and will occur every single day of your life. And you could be a part of that flow of love and compassion, yourself, if you wanted to.

But you would need to stop obsessing on the sh*t. You can't give to others what you don't have in yourself. And no one else really wants any more sh*t.

The world is an amazingly wonderful and beautiful place. And the huge majority of people living on it are spectacularly kind and loving and clever and funny and thoughtful. Everywhere you turn you're surrounded by amazing gifts, but you have to tear you eyes away from the sh*t to see them.

Please try and keep perspective. One horrible act does not negate the many millions of acts of love that happened at the same time. And you will make yourself sick and crazy if you forget how to find and acknowledge all the good in life.

Do you really want answers? Or are you just venting?

If you want an answer they try asking one, just one. and then we can take it from there.

Hmm, just an idle thought here, but suppose the Nazis had won the second world war. Suppose after a couple of decades they'd taken over the whole world. After abot 50 years of propaganda people would probably have sat around talking about how they understood why the Holocaust was necessary, because after all, those Jews really were inferior...

As a response to people who have problems accepting the idea of a murderous god, your's is rather lacking I'm afraid. Why was it ok for God to kill so many people? Because they were violent and wicked. How do we know that they were all violent and wicked? Well God said they were...

With your distinction of the words "us" and "people", I would have to assume that you are distinguishing yourself from people and if you are not I would have to ask how you are so sure that you do not have any "screwed up genes". Either way it is a pretty pompous statement coming from a person with a pompous nickname.

In conclusion, the OP has a very negative outlook on the world and it's inhabitants while distinguishing themselves from the rest of the inhabitants as if they are just an innocent victom who has done nothing wrong. This a very dangerous outlook to life.

I've heard this before I will answer to my best. God created man as a free moral Agent, He will not in any way Force you to do anything good or bad. You can do what u wish. But no matter what you do you must account to God.

The reason there are bad genes is becuase of Sin, sin missed up God's creation and that is why he almost killed it off, but he saved Noah and his Children. Sin is this, falling short of the Perfect mark, trangression, or breaking the law(Jewish law), and civil law. For this reason we are seprated from God. We can either choose to try and get right with God or ignore him and continue in sin.

The BIble conmdnems Sin, Murderers will pay for their sin, Liars will pay, Drug Dealers will pay, Drug Addicts will pay, Thieves will pay. So Dont worry, Every bad act will get it's recompence. And Every Good Act for God will have it's reward.

Jesus died on the Cross to pay for our sins,no matter what wrong we have done he said he would pay for it, cover it, Forgive it and, set us free. After this we are to no longer sin the same sins we did before. We are made new creatures and we are to live for God the best way we know how. If we do this WE will obtain Heaven, Presence with God, we will live with him without sin forever. Without death without murder, without wrong, there shall be no crying everyone shall be Happy. God actually created us to live sinless in the begining, but Adam messed it up and here we are.

No the Bible is not some "book" that people back then just liked. The Bible is the written word of God. Inspired and Holy. It explains to us who God is, What he did, why, and how we can get a realitionship with him. Anything we need to know is inside the Bible. Topics such as Murder, Aliens, Abortion, Creation, Evolution, Dinosuars, and almost anything eles can be explained by or from the bible, Why? Becuase God is the Author and finsher of the Faith. Jesus is his son and the Holy Spirit is God in us.

I understand how people can look at God that way and question why He did what He did. (or if He did it). I know men are capable of twisting or hiding history, but I trust the Bible, and God. It says God is love, and being love He is just. Everything I have come to learn of God is that He loves us and is patient with us, and understands our weaknesses. When I fall, He picks me up, He doesn't beat me down. He is very merciful and full of grace, wanting the best for us. I just trust Him, He has always taken care of me and I have felt His love and mercy and forgiveness time and time again, daily, as I struggle clumsily through life.

You sound rather confused, One Who Sees The Truth. It sounds as if you believe that Jesus Christ would never allow people to get hurt...............is that what you think?
