Well said. As should we all, really.Not speaking specifically to this issue, but I find ANY politician making what could be construed as populist comments prior to an election, and retractions after an election as highly dubious.

What I'm talking about doesn't involve some massive anti-German conspiracy by Israel, just selective "reminders" of the 1940s and what not. Just as the United States has an Israel Lobby, Germany does as well. And in Germany, they are that much more powerful because of things that should be obvious.

I meant my post as a joke, but upon reflection, I'd say "whining" really is over-used on RF, since it refers to high pitch.What starts off as those things becomes whining with consistency and relentlessness.
