I'm happy for you 'cause you've found a new religion! You see, we homosapiens are also homoreligiosus- we can't escape having a religion. And for a simple reason: our brains are too big. It's not enough to eat, walk, have sex, have a career - the brain is too big for those simple stuffs - each of us must also have a religion!
Yes, atheism is a religion. In fact, millions of people had banded together & built the 1st ever atheistic empire on earth - the former soviet communist empire!! Why, are you too young to remember this massive experiment to build a society without God? This is the 1st empire on the planet to be based on the proposition that there is no God - if you were a believer you'd go to jail for being 'unscientific, thus superstitious!' & unfit to live in that 'enlightened' new society! Only Science would arbitrate on morality & ethics, etc..
But please read my other threads for it will assure you - that you shouldn't worry about theism/atheism. Why? Because your belief at this very moment totally depends on the present state of your body/mind, not on some misty 'soul' . Or, are you trying to tell us that your present belief depends NOT on your total body/mind?
