Hello! I just registered and wanted to introduce myself.
I am in my 30's, happily married and am confused about my beliefs. From 16 until 26 I was an evangelical born again Christian, and after a time I stopped believing (from 26 until 35); I can go into detail if anyone would like me too, but suffice to say, I was completely happy living as an atheist. Then, things that I cannot explain started happening, and I started seeking out other beliefs (I believe I had an experience that I attributed to 'God'), and thought that Pagan described me.
I feel very close to nature, animals, and the changing of the seasons. I can accept that we are part of this great cosmic energy that may even be harnessed and manipulated; but I stopped my pursuit after performing a few rituals because I felt silly.
So, here I am; is it possible to be a Pagan who is also an atheist? One that believes in the God/Goddess within? Not a real good way to introduce myself maybe, I can start a new thread if the mods want.
