Being charged is easy. Convicting is more difficult, and requires actual evidence.

Not true at all. They are also fake electors if they were lied to by people higher up in the party. Some of them were innocent dupes. as this one in Michigan pled to and got a dea:

Sorry, there were fake electors slates set up across several different states. Most of whom are now facing legal problems. But you just keep on pretending they don't exist and that everything Trump says is the truth. That cognitive dissonance rears it's ugly head again.
