Don't they also help if you are going up a very steep and somewhat muddy (this is the Pacific Northwest after all) incline? Attach it to something uphill and use it to help you go up otherwise unscalable slopes.

I've even got the sway bar and axle lock/release built in, plus 4x4, V6 engine, high vis led light bar, and hood mounted Hi Jack in case I get stuck somewhere.
