Hello,

My name is Dora and I have a keen interest in religions. I am not practicing any religion myself, as I am a Deist, and Deists have no churches. I respect many religions and I believe that I can learn something from them.
Greetings Dora!
Nice to have you join us.

As a child I was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church. But after my confirmation, I no longer felt a desire to go to church. I quickly lost my belief in revealed religions, but I still am convinced of the existence of a Creator God. And so I became a Deist. I also believe in the afterlife.
You sound utterly brilliant!
IOW, you sound a lot like me.
Welcome to RF.

I don't like being tanned; it destroys my skin. And the Moon may be made of cheese, but at least She doesn't smell of garlic.

Little and often is the way, if the moon is made of cheese it could be French boursin which has tons of garlic in it,one bite of that and no vampire or human would go within 20 feet of you.
