Greeting everyone,

Hi. I'm Nimueway. I hope to meet some interesting people and have some lively discussions here.

I don't have a definitive religion in which to label myself. A lot of people will tell me, well you are "seeking", as though a label is an all important endeavor in this world. :sarcastic

Anyhow, my interests stem to all religions and cultures, I'm interested in philosophy, the metaphysical, and I am enchanted with the paranormal.

Yes, my name does derive from celtic mythology. I am enchanted with several mythologies, but the celtic have always called to my heart. I am enchanted with the beautiful intricisty of the blending of celtic pagan roots, and christain imagery and symbolism. The beauty in which results..in christams trees, holly decking the halls and the mistletoe, the easter bunny and coloring eggs symbolic of fertility and spring, it's all a rather brilliant display of time is it not?

Nimueway was Merlin's consort, but I don't believe there were any references to them being married. She is an angelicized remenant of the celtic moon goddess Nimue, and she also has connections to the Vivionne, a welsh giantess who resided in the otherword realm know as the land of women.
