Greetings everyone! I decided to join a good religion forum to discuss spirituality and religion at large. I was raised as a traditional Christian in a non-denomination church, but in my twenties I began to get serious about learning where we came from and what we're doing here only to discover that mainstream Christians answers just didn't cut it. I knew the Bible had great worth, but I felt that it was being interpreted wrongly. I left the church and began a 3-4 year study on my own. After countless hours or research and study (in many ancient religious texts) I have came to find out that the Bible is one of the greatest road maps ever put together and is no different than the teachings put forth in Eastern religions - you just have to dig a little deeper, beyond the literal meaning. I now run the blog, The Spirit of the Scripture, a site which discusses the esoteric meaning behind all the Biblical stories. I look forward to engaging with others here, especially from an esoteric view.
