Empirical Curmudgeon
Hi!

Just kidding. I'll elaborate somewhat more than that. ;)

I've been looking for a forum where I can partake in discussions, share opinions with different people and perhaps learn a thing or two in the process. Religion is a subject that is important to the world at large with some 90% of the people living here subscribing to some religion or other, and thus it is a subject worth discussing.

As for why I came to this particular forum...well, it was simply the first one that came up when I typed "religion" and "forum" into Google. ^_^

I've classified myself as an "Empirical Curmudgeon" and sadly I think you'll find that that is what I am. Professionally I am a teacher specializing in Science and Special Pedagogics, and I think empiricism and evidence is important. Not everyone agrees with me on this but I am confident that in most areas it is possible to know which answer has merit and which does not.

So, I guess that will do as an introduction. The rest you will have to find out on your own. :)

Thanks for having me and I hope this will be interesting.
