The why is immaterial. It's the what that's important, which in this case shows Trump's regard for women, and in turn raises the question: Is this the kind of person you want in the White House? Maybe it is. Yeah, let's elect a President who treats women like sex objects.

Being a patriot does not overshadow the type of misogyny coming out from his own words. There are plenty of women, probably many of his supporters, who are not up to his standards.

Because the positive does not cancel out or cover up the negative. It's really quite concerning that Trump supporters are actually encouraging the rest of us to ignore **** like this or at least pretend it didn't happen while Trump tries to become the leader of the most powerful economy and military force in the world.

Seriously, what is even right with this sort of thinking?
