Blasphemer

Seek, we must.
Hi there. I'm new here and figured I should introduce myself (and also look for advice while I'm here.) I'm kind of a seeker, but I have a general idea of what I feel like studying. I've always found myself interested in Left-Hand Path and LHP-ish religions. They've always been extremely interesting to me. Their ideas, their imagery, the atmosphere, etc., but I'm not coming to any conclusions that quickly, and without answering my questions first. I will give you a little bit of background on where I'm coming from though.

I was raised in a moderate Catholic household, went to Bible classes, etc. However, I never really had a connection with the Church, never really saw the point in Bible classes, and I despised going to that place as well. Didn't like the people, didn't like the deacons and other instructors, I just didn't like it. Later my father took me out of the classes. So later on I became apathetic, didn't really care about religion. Then I became an atheist, I thought no deities at all could exist, and I still hold on to some of my ideas from that time (i.e, submission to dogma is not good at any sense of the word, religious institutions are malevolent entities that abuse their power, etc.) However, this was in my early teenage phase, so I was subject to trend. Then later on I became an agnostic (and I still hold a lot of agnostic ideas today.) However, recently I've felt like something was just...missing. So I decided to seek, learn, in order to know if the divine, supernatural, etc exists.

So, I was wondering what I could do to discover this knowledge, or if I could discover these answers at all, and if so, where does one look? Thank you for your responses.

Welcome to the forum. You should find that any questions you have, can be answered by someone here. There's a pretty good diversity of religions represented here. And if you find that the LHP is your path, we have quite a few LHP practitioners here.

I've been lurking around and I find some of the boards here quite interesting. I'll keep lurking and study.
