BREAKING! The RFer known as "Misunderstood" was again misunderstood today in a post responding to
@PopeADope's thread, "How Does Your Religion View Necrophiliac Sex with Dead Spiders?".
@Misunderstood intended to express severe emotional pain that anyone would in this enlightened day and age be opposed to consensual inter-species sex between living and deceased organisms, but was misunderstood to be calling for a revolutionary overthrow of the Paraguan Government by most casual readers of his post.
In an official statement, Mod Spokesman
@adrian009 denounced the misunderstanding and called for funds for the entire RF staff to take a fact finding junket to the Bermuda Islands in order to research the matter with an aim to preventing future misunderstandings. Meanwhile, Mod Spokesman
@SalixIncendium moved that the fact finding mission be clothing optional -- which was immediately seconded by Mod Spokesman
@Rival on the grounds that anything which would get Salix out of his tasteless clothing was worth it.
Further developments were added by RF Administrators
@Debater Slayer and
@Quagmire who immediately declared an RF State of Dire Emergency before returning to their Old Maid card game. Meanwhile, RFer
@Skwim posted a thread, "Christians: What's Wrong with Premarital Spider Sex?", the OP of which sensibly argued that Christians were irrational and outdated to condemn prenuptial sex between spiders.
The day was rounded out when
@Vouthon responded to Skwim with overwhelming erudition in a well-researched post that traced the written and oral history of prenuptial spider sex back to the Sumerian King's List, and which was misunderstood even by Misunderstood.
And so it goes, as Kurt used to say.
