Dogs and cats have been shown in many cases to miss their owners after an owner passes away, travels, etc. Whether they would behave the same way with another owner is beside the point; you said that a dog doesn't love its owner, which is demonstrably incorrect.
They have a dog.

Show me how your dog reasons and show me a product of his imagination. I'll wait here.

Yeah, and how come that matters to you? Well, it matters because of your emotions.
There is not in how a human acts that makes it a person. That is a value judgment in you and not a fact.

I'm not conflating anything they are inexorably attached. The push for EVs is strictly related to climate change. For decades we gave heard how cow flatulence contributes to greenhouse gases. Please stop pretending that there is an agenda being pushed.

And btw I stop taking you seriously when you try and equate human animals to other animals. That emotional silliness is to be rightfully ignored.
You appear to be very confused. I was not the one that made that equivocation. And your post on AGW is rather odd. You almost seem to be both accepting it and denying it.

Once when I was a teen I went away on a school trip for about a month. My mother and sister told me that for every single day I was gone, our dog would sit outside my room all day long looking for me, whimpering a little and awaiting my return. They had to force her to eat and go outside to do her bathroom business.

Anyone who has ever interacted with a dog on just about any level can clearly see they have feelings and emotions and are capable of feeling and expressing love.

I befriended a cat during military service who would roam the unit and wait for me outside the barracks every morning, following me to the cafeteria where we ate together. When we allowed him inside the barracks a couple of times, he jumped on my bed out of all of the others in there and lay on it next to me.

I find it confusing more than anything that someone who has interacted with dogs or cats would say that they're incapable of displaying love; that notion can be demonstrated to be incorrect extremely easily.
