LOL so we agree you only showed chemicals not that dogs "see humans as family". Its "seems" like the best "interpretation". The fact that your dog doesnt love you isnt a controversial issue. This is nothing more than humans projecting their emotions onto animals.

The chemcials are a result of love, love is not the result of chemicals. But A for effort.

Well, the problem is this. We are not that unique as humans. We share a lot of similarities with other animals.
Your model is in the end that we magically became special and that a lot of behaviour are not shared with other animals.
The evidence shows otherwise.

As long as it's a human. Irrelevant question of course. Just because a non-human animal cannot be a doctor that in no way demonstrates that higher mammals are not capable of reasoning. In case you hadn't noticed different species of higher mammal are not completely identical in their capacities. Rats, for instance, are better at working out random reinforcement schedules than humans.

Yes we do share lots of similarities but that doesnt make animals persons. the problem is you thing similar means same. It doesnt. When a monkey can perform successful heart surgery then MAYBE you could begin to argue humans arent unique.

Correct! Human. Distinct and superior to other mammals. None of that makes them persons.

We are not the same even if we are humans, we are only similar in some cases, same in others and different in others. That is also so with other animals.
