You might still be alive, just in very bad debt.No because I've had lymphoma twice and I doubt if I'd be alive today under what I know of the U.S. system. I admit that all I know is from the Michael Moore documentary.
Asking that question on RF is selecting your sample. That's a bad practice. Also, why or why not?
But that's not applicable anyway. We're comparing universal vs. privatized, first world. I suppose I should've specified.Asking that question on RF is selecting your sample. That's a bad practice.
RF has no members from third word countries with a more desolate health care system than the US. RF has, afaik, no stockholders in Big Pharma or insurance companies.
Are you out of your freakin' mind?!?Also, why or why not?
I was just frubing the other video when I got an error message. I found that also appropriate.
We have privatized (mandatory, heavily regulated) healthcare. Ours works. But that's not applicable anyway. We're comparing universal vs. privatized, first world. I suppose I should've specified.
Don't ask me, U.S. conservatives insist that our privatized healthcare is superior and envied by those with universal healthcare. Now, tell me, for what possible reason could we prefer the American system?
We, the sane population of America, is ****ing OVER being compared to a third world country. We shouldn't have to compare ourselves to lower. We should look at the top and have at least that.Asking that question on RF is selecting your sample. That's a bad practice.

Germany.What country?
Walter White did what he did becauseWhat’s the old meme?
If Breaking Bad was set in literally any other civilised country, it would be a slice of life drama about a man getting cancer treatment...
Now, tell me, for what possible reason could we prefer the American system?
I don't want to live in this country anymoreThe only reason I can think of is if one actively wants to see more humans die. It's one of many reasons why I've stopped calling the modern Republican Party by that name and instead started calling them the Death Party. They kind of are, at this point, between being anti-science on pandemics and vaccinations, anti-science on the existential threats posed by climate change, anti-woman by restricting and banning women's health care, and anti-regulation on assault weaponry and other firearms. Though in fairness, a fair whack of politicians in the Death Party are a bit out of step with what their own voters actually want - there is pretty widespread support for reasonable regulation of firearms for example - but then there's all the corporate money in the politics here that sort of ruins a lot of stuff.
