Skwim......... on the side of the thread..... I am 66 yrs now and still don't know what Thanksgiving is about, or for. My wife and our neighbours don't know either, but we do know that it is as big, or bigger, than Xmas.And, if it isn't a who, then what?

I don't think of it as giving thanks to anyone -
but more in the pleased and relieved sense; being thankful I have enough, good mates, etc.
